Description & More Pictures
This is a rare example of an outstanding GMC Motorhome. This has one of the most beautiful interiors I’ve seen in these GMC motorhomes. Solid teak wood cabinets, leather interior, etc.
There were only 12,921 GMC Motorhomes produced in total. It is estimated that approximately 8,500 are still on the road.
The GMC motorhome was produced by the gm truck & coach division for the 1973 through 1978 model years in Pontiac, Michigan, USA. It was the only complete motorhome built by a major auto/truck manufacturer producing what GMC hoped would be their “halo” vehicle. Part of the reason this vehicle is so different from other motor homes of the era is that it was not conceived as just a “camper,” but as a vehicle for comfortable travel as well. The design was radical for the day with front-wheel drive and a low profile, fully integrated body.
Due to their timeless popularity there are currently several companies throughout the United States that offer a complete list of parts and specialize in mechanical and remodeling services.
The interior features a dining area which slides into a bed, rear bed area and side bathroom referred to as dry as the shower is separate from the toilet. It has a hand held shower head, storage and sink.
The kitchen area is equipped with a fridge, microwave, sink, an oven, and multiple solid wood storage cabinets.
The windshield and windows have zero clouding.
All manuals, service records, etc. available.
Buyer picks up or arranges for shipping.
