1977 GMC “Palm Beach” motorhome.

The Palm Beach is in brackets as the interior of the coach was extensively remodeled in 2014, and vinyl wrapped by the previous owner. The vehicle is Ontario plated, located in Fredericton, New Brunswick (Canada). $18,000 CDN

I am the 3rd owner, the original being a well-known engine mechanic in Ontario, Canada who owned the coach for 37 years, doing extensive upgrades and performing impeccable maintenance. Owner 2 renovated the coach for business purposes (a corporate road show). I have owned the coach since 2019.

All systems work, though some need upgrades.

In 2019 I traveled from Toronto to BC and back, via the US, then extensively in central Canada and the East coast (16,000km driven). This coach runs well, though did have (mostly) expected issues. The coach has been well maintained in my ownership, including:
· New (rebuilt) Manny Transmission, currently with 6000km on it (2019)
· Onan: gaskets replaced, tune up, new exhaust (2019)
· New driver side exhaust manifold gasket (2019)
· Brakes checked, fluid flush, one new caliper (2021)
· New wheel bearing, front passenger side (2021)
· Regular oil changes and lube.
I travelled extensively in 2019, but not much driving in 2020 or 2021. Started a minor interior freshen up in 2020 (lifted floors, carpet, 2 side walls), but TBH, got disheartened knowing I could not really go anywhere, so lost my momentum. It has been regularly (weekly) started/warmed up, and I have used it for a 200-300 kms per summer to run errands.
Mechanically (frame, body, engine and auto mechanics) this is an exceptional vehicle for its age, and a great base for further improvements.
· Odometer: 113,885 miles
· Engine: rebuilt 455 with electronic fuel injection with approx. 40k on it. Runs great.
· Onan 6k generator
· True frame with minimal rust
· Disk brakes all around
· Black tank spout (drain) update (2020)

Is it perfect? No. Does require some cosmetic remodeling, still chasing two minor water leaks. Could use new fans, as well as window seals. And maybe a new fridge (it’s the original, and still works, though a bit beat up inside).
Why am I selling: I need to be closer to the woods than a front-wheel drive RV allows.
