Description & More Pictures
This is a 1976 GMC that was outfitted by Roll A Long is Long Beach CA.
Apart from a print advertisement I have not found another one like it. History would tell me this was shipped from GMC as a transmode and then outfitted. Interior is complete in all of its 1976 glory including a built in vacuum. It is a dry bath setup. I am the third owner. Short history is this was a runner/driver by the second owner, his son parked it at his business for the winter after a family trip and that is we’re it sat for 15+ years, under a canopy. About 5 years ago they had it running in an effort to sell it. I saw it drive from the back of their property to the front on numerous occasions. About 2 years ago I took ownership and got it running again. The motor was rough but the carb needs a rebuild and what fuel there was I am sure was bad (I added fuel but it was still rough). But it was running. I had it towed from their yard (they sold the business and property) to my house. Interior is fully intact. There is some water damage from the roof vent over the bathroom. I have since replaced the roof hatch and sealed everything. Damage is limited to the headliner and pressed cardboard backer. I have plugged in the RV to my house and the electrical appears to work. I did not test everything but lights turned on, and even the service panel for the waste tanks lit up.
I have done a little work with it with plans to make it a family RV. However the city has cracked down on RV storage and I have made the decision to part ways with her. Please email me for more info. What I have done and what else I know about it.
It will need to be towed from its current location as it is not in a drivable state.
