Description & More Pictures

This is the classic GMC motorhome with the Oldsmobile Toronado front wheel drive system. If you are not familiar with these, do some research on the internet. There is still a very active following including forums, clubs, support, etc. I have spent a great deal of time working on this and enjoying it over the last several years, but I’m ready to let it go. Please see the list of maintenance and improvements that I’ve made

over the last few years. It has been stored inside heated storage for the last 6 years. The odometer reads 55,000 miles, but don’t know much about its history prior to about 2005. It runs and drives well. The air suspension works well and creates a ride that “floats” over bumps. (The design was way ahead of its time). Both rooftop A/C units still blow cold air. The generator works as it should.

Improvements include:
New Paint

Suspension System:
New front wheel bearings and rebuilt hubs
6 new tires
new wheel simulators (hub caps)
Urethane Control Arm Bushings (upper and lower)
Two ball joints
sway bar end links
front KYB shocks
New 9″ Air Bags with Custom Brackets to support them
New shutoff valve system to isolate airbags
New Air Compressor
New Fittings on Air Tank
Most of the air tubing replaced
Rebuilt dash level control valves

Engine/Drivetrain
Rebuilt Carburetor
Fan clutch
radiator hoses
belts
thermostat and radiator cap
distributor cap and rotor
spark plugs
rebuilt alternator
starter solenoid
solid copper exhaust manifold gaskets
rebuilt drive axles (Mr. Axle)
replaced all fuel hoses and hard line
fuel tank selector valve
replaced both original rusty gas tanks with brand new 19 gallon tanks (made for late 90’s Ford truck)

Brakes
Purchased rebuilt front calipers
New front rotors
New front brake hoses
New pads – the most aggressive I could find
rebuilt master cylinder
Power brake booster (it has an extra port for an aux. vacuum pump, but I have not added the pump)

Dash Air conditioning rebuilt a few years back – still blows cold.
new hoses
new condenser
new compressor
converted to 134a

Plumbing
replaced water pump with modern pump
new porcelain RV toilet
main waste dump valve and related pipes

Interior
new upholstery on all original rear seats
front seats from 97 Cadillac Eldorado
Stereo system with iPhone compatibility
recent head liner
new Norcold RV fridge (gas and 115V)
Gas Stove/oven (Suburban)
Microwave oven
New modern 12 volt converter (doesn’t buzz like original – does better job charging batteries)
new overhead lights
cleaned original furnace – works well
new heating thermostat

I’m sure there are other things that I forgot to include. Please email for more details. Thanks for looking!

  1. Mr.
I noticed that his ad was very detailed, but I wonder if he is ready to make a trip from Alaska to southern Chile.
What services and parts do I have to make or change?
The interior was personalized, I would like to know if it would be possible to return to the original pattern and where I can do this.
In my country only RV with at least 30 years of manufacturing and must be in the original conditions of the factory, nothing altered or modernized.can be registered (imported).
Are there any repair shops that can repair the RV near your city?
Are there any parts and accessories stores near your city?
You could send me the names and addresses or emails to contact these stores.
I live far from your city. skype: loboautoparts
    Thankful
